Social Media Policy
Social networking sites, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, have become an integral part of communicating in everyday life for millions of people around the world. It is becoming an increasingly important aspect of our interaction with our candidates and clients. When used appropriately, social networking sites can be very valuable. However, there are challenges the firm faces in its efforts to promote the work of the clients and Academic Search.
We do not allow any comments to be posted which are directly related to particular candidates or searches. While we want to share the search information with the online community, we take privacy and confidentiality for the search very seriously. If a client or candidate have questions or concerns about a search, we would strongly encourage them to email the senior consultant facilitating the search. That is the best method of communication for such concerns.
Academic Search, Inc. reserves the right to edit or delete all comments that, in its sole discretion, determine to be inappropriate. Any questions about this policy should be directed to the firm’s director of technology services.
