Iona College, a nationally recognized independent liberal arts college serving close to 3,600 students, invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for its next Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration (SVPFA). Founded in 1940, Iona is a private Catholic college with two locations in Westchester, New York: a 45-acre campus in New Rochelle and a new 28-acre Bronxville campus.
Reporting directly to President Seamus Carey, the Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration (SVPFA) serves as the chief financial officer of the college, treasurer, and member of the senior leadership team. As an executive position, the SVPFA will provide leadership and administrative oversight for finance and accounting, business services, student financial services and human resources.
In the last several years, Iona has expanded and strengthened its academic programs, enhanced its physical plant, and heightened its sense of community on campus. The SVPFA will join an institution with impressive momentum, an innovative spirit, and an aspirational culture. As the College shapes its ambitious goals for the future, strategically aligning its planning for academic programs, enrollment management, development, communications and marketing, this key position provides a significant opportunity for experienced leadership.
This search is on a fast track and President Carey would like the appointee to take office in Summer 2022. Academic Search is assisting Iona College with this search, and confidential discussions may be arranged by contacting Maya Ranchod Kirkhope, Vice President and Senior Consultant, at email@example.com.
Applications, nominations, and inquiries may be sent in confidence to IonaSVPFA@academicsearch.org. Although application materials will be accepted until the time that a new SVPFA is selected, candidates should submit materials by June 1, 2022, for the most favorable consideration. For more information about the institution, position, qualifications and application process, please review the search prospectus, available for download on this site.
