The University of Redlands seeks a creative and inspirational leader as the next Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Leveraging the commitment and expertise of the College faculty, the Dean will advance active learning experiences for current and future students of the liberal arts, which are foundational to the Redlands identity.
The successful new Dean will work in a transparent and collaborative way to engage faculty and staff in the College and across the institution to address the changing student demographics, rapid transformations in the world of work, and the responsibilities of citizenship. Promoting thoughtful structures and systems related to budget and programmatic initiatives is critical to moving forward. Analyzing and harmonizing program array within the College, as well as with partners in the professional Schools, is critical to this endeavor.
