Full-time and student staff provide phenomenal experiences for our patrons and assure effective and efficient day-to-day operations. Library faculty serve as subject-specialists and liaisons to the campus’s 63 academic departments and programs, collectively delivering over 800 instruction sessions a semester. They ensure that library collections align with curricular needs and reflect emerging discipline-specific knowledge. CSULB’s smart classrooms equipped with high-tech furnishings provide the ideal layout for classroom instruction and interaction between students and librarians. Library faculty meet the evolving landscape of education through accommodating various alternative modes of instruction (AMI) in online and hybrid learning environments.
