North Dakota State University (NDSU) invites applications and nominations for the position of Ronald G. and Kaye S. Olson Dean of the College of Business. The University seeks an individual who will provide vision and leadership to the College. The Dean is the chief executive officer of the college, reporting to the Provost. The Dean has responsibility for leading the College and securing the support and resources necessary to achieve its mission. The Dean oversees the staff, other administrators, and the departments of the College and their instructional, research, and service/outreach activities. The Dean is charged with all aspects of the College’s external engagement, including fund raising, developing partnerships with industry, and enhancing the image and reputation of the College in the state and region.
Located in the heart of downtown Fargo, North Dakota, the NDSU College of Business is the home to over 1495 undergraduate and 150 graduate students, as well as students who partner with the college through interdisciplinary programs. The 135,000-square foot building features an executive board room, state-of-the-art advanced technology trading lab with 12 Bloomberg terminals; 284-seat auditorium; three-story atrium with coffee bar, study areas, IT helpdesk, and library; and the brand-new Louise S. Barry Auditorium, that is the perfect space for hosting events and conferences.
