Frederick Community College (FCC), located in Frederick, Maryland, invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President of Talent and Culture (VPTC).

With that in mind, FCC is excited to launch the search for the Vice President of Talent and Culture (VPTC). Reporting to the President, this senior leadership team member will help foster a culture that affirms our belief that the right people are our organization’s most valuable resource, our competitive advantage. In today’s world of increasing volatility, uncertainty, change and ambiguity, it is imperative that our talent have the capacity to navigate modern-day complexities toward continual organizational progress. This new position will help to align the organizational culture with organizational strategies while advancing a positive and progressive workplace experience.
The VPTC must be an experienced human resources leader who is committed to the College’s educational mission and deeply believes in the power of an extraordinary culture. This position is responsible for all facets of the talent ecosystem (recruiting, performance management, talent management and engagement, etc.) as well as compensation, benefits and wellness, and compliance with a keen focus on people processes and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and have a collaborative, results-oriented leadership style. They will be flexible, creative, and solutions-oriented.
