Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington, invites applications and nominations for its next President. Lower Columbia College (LCC) is a comprehensive community college established in 1934. With an annual budget of $28 million, the college serves about 4050 students per year. There are over 90 program options at LCC from high school through applied bachelor’s degrees. A comprehensive offering of student services, student clubs and extra-curriculars ensure that all LCC students receive the optimal experience. The college also hosts the University Center which offers degrees from four partner universities.
LCC is the only college serving Cowlitz and Wahkiakum counties. Situated less than an hour from Portland to the south, and two hours from Seattle to the north, LCC is ideally located in the lovely Southwest Washington region, just over an hour’s drive to Mount St. Helens or the communities along the Pacific coast. The region offers family-oriented events and activities across the four seasons.
The salary for this position will be determined based on qualifications and related experience. It is expected the new hire will begin at $250,000 to $260,000 per year.
