California State University, Fresno (Fresno State), one of 23 campuses in the California State University system, one of the nation’s largest, seeks a collaborative enrollment expert who can provide entrepreneurial vision and leadership in the development and implementation of enrollment goals and measurable objectives to strategically admit and enroll new students to the university as well as retain current students. The successful candidate is expected to be appointed in January 2024 and will report to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, Dr. Kent Willis.

The Associate Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management (AVPSEM) is expected to act as an innovative and creative leader who understands trends, best practices, and data-driven approaches to strategic recruitment and retention efforts in higher education. The AVPSEM position requires a leader who understands the unique needs of the diverse student population Fresno State serves and will be a compassionate champion for its students. The university seeks an AVPSEM who will create a culture of care for its students and divisional staff.
