Chapman University is a nationally ranked R-2 doctoral institution with an annual budget of over $485 Million. It is known for its holistic approach to liberal arts and sciences education. Student undergraduate enrollments are just over 7,600, with graduate enrollments at 2,300. Pell eligible students make up 18% of the student body, and 86% of students attend Chapman with merit and/or need-based scholarships. Chapman University offers more than 50 majors across its 11 schools and colleges. There are 15 programs in which students can complete a master’s degree with an additional year of study after the bachelor’s degree. The largest programs are in business and economics, film and media arts, and health and behavioral sciences. A comprehensive offering of student services, clubs and organizations, and community service activities ensures that all Chapman students receive the optimal experience. The University’s goal is to provide housing for 100% of its students, in a combination of on-campus and off-campus options.
Chapman University sits on an expansive suburban 90-acre campus in Orange, California about 30 miles southeast of Los Angeles and 3 miles from Santa Ana. Located in a region of the country that is known for its beauty, the campus architecture and grounds are inviting destinations for the community. The salary for this position will be determined based on qualifications and related experience. It is expected the new hire will begin at $350,000 to $500,000 per year. A comprehensive benefits package is offered as well.
