The College of Southern Nevada (CSN), a comprehensive, multi-campus community college located in Las Vegas, NV invites applications, expressions of interest and nominations of candidates in its search for the next Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA).
CSN, a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and Minority Serving Institution (MSI), serves over 50,000 students from three primary campuses located in North Las Vegas, Central Las Vegas, and Henderson with eight learning centers distributed across the metroplex. CSN is a member of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) along with two research universities, a state university, four community colleges, and a research institute.
Reporting to the Acting President, Dr. William Kibler, the VPFA is a trusted member of the executive team and strategic financial advisor for the institution. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for CSN, the VPFA ensures that fiscal/budgetary policies and procedures align with the College’s mission and strategic direction and comply with the NSHE policy, state, and federal statutes/regulations. Units within the Finance & Administration team include the areas of Controller, Procurement and Auxiliary Services, Budget Services, and Facilities Management.
