Touro University Nevada (TUN) welcomes applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), who will provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for the College, which currently includes the following schools: Physician Assistant, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy (through 2027) and Education. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will work closely with Program Directors and faculty to set academic goals, enhance program offerings, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and develop a cohesive vision for the growth and success of the college. The Dean will support and reflect the values of Touro University Nevada.
Located in Henderson, Nevada, approximately 25 miles from central Las Vegas, TUN was established in 2004 to help address critical personnel needs in health care and education and as a resource for community service in the state of Nevada. TUN is part of Touro University, the largest university under Jewish auspices in the United States. Touro University has over 30 campuses in several states and four countries, including six medical schools, several other health science degree programs as well as many liberal arts and professional programs.
