OSF HealthCare is a primarily Illinois based network of 13 hospitals and 2 colleges that invites applications and nominations for two newly created Provost positions at Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing (Peoria) and Saint Anthony College of Nursing (Rockford).

Each college of nursing offers programs that encourage open inquiry and advances in scholarship, while preparing compassionate health care professionals in diverse health care environments.  Offering BSN, MSN and DNP degree programs, each college of nursing has provided opportunities for traditional and online nursing courses.

Working collaboratively with the OSF Healthcare President and the College, each Provost will have the opportunity to participate in visionary leadership as well as being responsible for campus day-to-day management.  At each campus, the Provost oversees academic initiatives; instruction and assessment; student, faculty and staff affairs; strategic planning and college development; and stewardship of fiscal, physical and human resources of the College.

Candidates must have an earned doctorate degree in education or nursing, minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing degree, current state licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse, and a minimum of 5 years of progressive administrative leadership experience in nursing education.  A complete position descriptions and qualifications are available in the position profile.
