Gonzales, the Governing Board of the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD), and the Presidential Search Committee invite inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of President of Scottsdale Community College (SCC). The College seeks an experienced, innovative, and visionary leader with a passion for teaching, learning, and student success and who can leverage the talents of an exceptional faculty and staff to create opportunities for students.
Scottsdale Community College, located on a 160-acre campus in Scottsdale, Arizona, is one of 10 exceptional Maricopa colleges. In partnership with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRP-MIC), SCC is honored to be the only two-year public higher education institution located on Native American land. The next president will be a systems-thinker who demonstrates appreciation of the complexity and diversity of the District – which collectively awarded 27,131 degrees in 2019. This new leader will possess a collegial, collaborative, and growth-minded approach to SCC as it sits within the greater Phoenix community college and university ecosystem.
