Frank G. Pogue

Frank Pogue is President Emeritus of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He was awarded the BA degree in sociology by Alabama State University, the MA degree by Atlanta University, now Clark Atlanta University and the Ph.D. in sociology by the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Pogue has served as President of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania; President of Grambling State University; Interim President of the State University of New York at Cobleskill; Interim President of Chicago State University; and, Interim President of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Pogue is currently a Senior Associate in the AASCU-Penson Center for Professional Development, a consulting firm that works primarily with public colleges and universities. His areas of consultation include leadership development and team-building; presidential transition and planning; community relations: presidential and board relationships; leadership performance review; executive coaching; and, succession planning with a focus on HBCUs minority-serving institutions.
