Social Media Policy

Social networking sites, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, have become an integral part of communicating in everyday life for millions of people around the world. When used appropriately, these sites can be very valuable in interacting with prospective candidates and sources of nominations. However, there are challenges we face in our efforts to promote our work and the work we do with our partner institutions. While we wish to share search-related information with the online community, we take privacy and confidentiality very seriously and thus, do not allow any comments to be posted that are directly associated with specific candidates. If our partners or candidates have questions or concerns about any posts, we strongly encourage them to email the senior consultant facilitating the search. We reserve the right to edit or delete all comments that, in our sole discretion, are determined to be inappropriate. Any questions about this policy should be directed to Academic Search Support.
